Paperman Media (Puri)- The much-awaited INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art & cultural Heritage ) Puri Chapter was inaugurated on the 7th of this this mont. It was inaugurated in the presence of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Parbhathi Parida on the premises of the Central Sanskrit University.
Dr. Adyasha Das, Co-Convenor of INTACH Bhubaneswar Chapter, INTACH Member Secretary Ravindra Singh, Satyabadi MLA Om Prakash Mishra, INTACH State Convenor Dr. Biswajit Mohanty, Convenor of INTACH Puri Chapter Subash Chandra Rath, Director of Central Sanskrit University Dr. Minti Rath, INTACH State Co-Convenor cum Governing Council Member Anil Dhir graced the occasion.
On this occasion, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Parida said that the start of INTACH chapter in Puri, the cultural heart of Odisha, is definitely a good news. I am very hopeful that INTACH will play a major role in the protection, preservation and awareness of the rich heritage of Puri.
Satyabadi MLA Shri Mishra beautifully explained how to protect heritage and culture in a conversational style. State Convenor Dr. Mohanty said that he is hopeful that a lot of work will be done through INTACH Puri chapter. Anil Dhir and Rabindra Singh discussed in detail about INTACH programs. Shri Dhir said that he is hopeful that all the heritage in Puri will be preserved. And he also remember the Jagannath Sadak project of INTACH before few years ago.
