Paperman Media (Jakarta)- Indonesia Odia Samaj celebrated Pakhala Divasa on 29th March in Jakarta, Indonesia. Around 30 Odia community members joined the Pakhala diwas. They discussed about Odia food Pakhala and how it is nutrious. Pakhala Divasa observed it in a restaurant owned by one of member of Odia Samaj family.

The reason is to cherish roots back in Odisha, Pakhala being the soul of every Odia, by celebrating it we celebrate our Odiahood. Food is one of the significant foundations of any culture, by celebrating it we want to ensure our next generation as well gets to know about it.

We have been celebrating Pakhala Diwas for almost 4 years in a row till this year also here in Jakarta, Indonesia said Subhendu Mishra one of the leader of Indonesia Odia Samaja. It is worth reading that during celebration of Pakhala Parva in Odisha CM Shri Mohan Charan Majhi mentioned Pakhala Divasa celebration of Indonesia in 20th March of this month.
