Paperman Media (Aska)- A sanitation awareness programme was conducted in Babanpur Panchayat under Aska Block of Ganjam district, with the participation of around 150 community members. During the programme, 70 individuals submitted their Aadhaar cards to the Block Resource Centre (BRC) to apply for toilet construction.
A demonstration of the Sato Pan with V-Trap was conducted, and support mechanisms under the WASH finance scheme were explained to beneficiaries.
A total of 12 NSS students also participated in the event. A separate session was held with them to outline their role in spreading awareness among eligible beneficiaries. The students will carry out awareness activities in the area over the next seven days.
Sarpanch Mr. Sanjay informed that construction of toilets will commence once the work order is issued.
