Paperman ( Bhubaneswar ) - Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, in collaboration with FICCI as the Industry Partner, is set to organize the Chhattisgarh Tourism Roadshow at Mayfair Convention, Bhubaneswar, on June 5, 2026. The event aims to promote Chhattisgarh as one of India's most promising tourism destinations and strengthen tourism and business linkages with Odisha.
The roadshow will bring together tourism stakeholders, travel trade representatives, hoteliers, tour operators, media professionals, and government officials to explore the state's diverse tourism offerings. Chhattisgarh is known for its rich tribal heritage, ancient archaeological sites, spiritual destinations, breathtaking waterfalls, dense forests, abundant wildlife, vibrant handicrafts, and authentic cultural experiences.
A high-level delegation from Chhattisgarh Tourism will participate in the event, led by Shri Neelu Sharma, Chairman, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, Dr. S. Bharathidasan, IAS, Secretary, Tourism Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, and Shri Vivek Acharya, IFS, Managing Director, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, along with other senior government officials and tourism stakeholders from the state.
The programme will feature a dedicated B2B networking session between tour operators from Odisha and tourism stakeholders from Chhattisgarh, aimed at fostering partnerships and expanding tourism business opportunities. The evening session will include a cultural showcase highlighting the traditions and heritage of Chhattisgarh, followed by presentations on the state's tourism potential, key destinations, tourism infrastructure, and future growth opportunities.
Speaking ahead of the event, officials from Chhattisgarh Tourism emphasized that the roadshow is part of the state's ongoing efforts to position Chhattisgarh on the national tourism map and attract more domestic and international visitors. The initiative will provide stakeholders from Odisha with an opportunity to gain deeper insights into the state's tourism products and emerging travel circuits.
The roadshow is expected to serve as a valuable platform for industry engagement, knowledge exchange, and collaboration, while creating greater awareness about Chhattisgarh's unique blend of nature, culture, heritage, spirituality, and adventure.
